Tax & Accounting Manager

Lumen CPA, Inc. is a full-service accounting firm located in Brecksville, Ohio serving clients wherever they may be. We combine smart technology, smart people, and smart processes with shared knowledge to help clients achieve their goals.
The Ideal Candidate:
- Is a CPA with 7+ years’ experience in public accounting including supervision and review of business and individual tax engagements and compilations and reviews of financial statements
- Is detail oriented, organized, and tech-savvy (our tech stack consists of Microsoft 365, UltraTax, RIA Checkpoint, QuickBooks Online, ShareFile, and numerous other applications)
- Enjoys creating new solutions, improving processes, and driving projects to completion
- Is an excellent communicator who works well with clients, colleagues, and other professionals
- Embraces continuous learning, new technologies, and new challenge
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and review business, individual, and trust tax returns
- Tax research, planning, and projections
- Supervise and review the work of a staff accountants and coordinate services and projects with firm owner and clients
- Prepare, review, and analyze financial statements and perform compilation and review engagements
- Oversee client accounting services (a rapidly growing area of our practice)
- Consult with clients, identify needs, propose solutions, develop and implement service plans
- Develop and improve internal processes for serving clients and ensuring timely completion of projects
Other Information:
- Experience in industry is not required but is a strong plus as we expand our client accounting services practice.
- The ability to juggle many projects is important in this role.

Compensation: commensurate with experience
