New Technology Traditional Values
As a third generation accountant, I understand the importance of the accountant – client relationship. It’s not just business – it’s personal.
Using his experiences as a petty officer in the Navy during WWII, my grandfather, Frank Kopmeyer served as an accountant to many veterans who started businesses to provide for their families. My father, Gary, continued the tradition and transitioned from adding machines and paper to personal computers to serve the next generation of business owners. I witnessed the close relationships my dad had with his clients. They were more than clients – they were friends and family. They looked to him as a trusted advisor to help them run their businesses and provide for their families.
As we transition to an era of cloud accounting, texts, and twitter, the Lumen team is committed to maintaining the close personal relationship with each and every one of our clients. The tools are different but the philosophy is the same – it’s not just about the numbers it’s about the people.
